Who we are
GutGlow Life is run by a Brazilian company, and we are the ones responsible for your data.
GutGlow Life is operated by MPSize Ltda, a company incorporated in Brazil. Under Brazilian data protection law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13.709/2018, “LGPD”), MPSize Ltda is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Where we say “we”, “us” or “GutGlow Life”, we mean MPSize Ltda.

What this policy covers
Everything with our name on it: the blog, the products you buy, and the app.
This policy applies to:
- Our website and blog at gutglowlife.com
- Our sales pages at lp.gutglowlife.com
- Our digital products, including the GutGlow 7-Day Reset and its bonus guides
- GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition, at app.gutglowlife.com
- Emails we send you about a purchase, and our replies to your support messages
It does not cover third-party websites we may link to, or the checkout process operated by Hotmart, which is governed by Hotmart’s own privacy policy.
Information we collect
Your name and email if you give them to us, basic analytics about site visits, and purchase records from Hotmart.
Information you give us
We do not run a newsletter and we do not collect email addresses through forms or opt-ins. The only ways you give us personal data directly are:
- By buying something — see below
- By writing to support — your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message, so we can answer it
Information from your purchase
Purchases are processed by Hotmart, not by us. Hotmart collects and holds your payment details; we never see or store your card or banking information. From Hotmart we receive the information needed to deliver your product and support you — typically your name, email address, and a record of what you bought and when.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and usage data — browser type, device type, approximate location inferred from IP address, pages visited, referring site, and time spent on pages
- This is collected through cookies and analytics tools, as described in section 07
What we never collect: we do not ask for, and do not want, your medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions, or any detail about your health beyond what you might choose to write to us voluntarily in a support email.
GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition
Everything you record in the app stays on your own device. We never receive it.
GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition works differently from most health apps, and deliberately so. It has no user account, no login, and no server that stores your information.
Everything you enter into the app — your starting profile, daily practice check-boxes, evening Rhythm Check answers, ratings, your Three Anchors, Daily Compass entries, and your Digestive Stability Index — is stored only in your own browser’s local storage, on your own device.
Your check-ins stay on your device. GutGlow Life does not receive your individual digestive responses. There is no database on our side that holds them, which means there is nothing for us to read, analyse, share, sell, or lose.
Two consequences follow from this, and you should know both:
- You control the data completely. The app includes an “Export my data” function that saves your progress as a file you keep. Nothing is uploaded when you do this.
- We cannot recover it for you. If you clear your browser data, use private browsing, or switch to a different device, your saved progress may be lost, and we have no copy to restore. This is why we encourage you to export a backup.
The app does not currently use analytics or tracking of any kind. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first, and any such analytics would be anonymous and would never include your individual health responses.
How we use your information
To deliver what you bought, answer your questions, and understand which articles are useful.
- To deliver the products you have purchased and provide access to them
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- To understand how our website is used, so we can improve our content
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of our site
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Our legal basis
We only process your data where the law gives us a reason to — usually your consent, or because you bought something from us.
Under the LGPD (Article 7) and, where it applies to visitors in Europe, the GDPR (Article 6), we rely on the following bases:
- Consent — for analytics and advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to deliver a product you have purchased and to support you in using it.
- Legitimate interests — to keep our site secure and to understand in aggregate how it is used, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
- Compliance with a legal obligation — for accounting, tax and consumer protection record-keeping.
Advertising
We run ads. If you consent, the ad platforms can tell that a visit turned into a purchase.
We advertise our products on platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To measure whether those advertisements work, we use measurement tools provided by those platforms — commonly called pixels or tags.
Where you consent to advertising cookies, these tools may record that you visited a page or completed a purchase, and share that event with the advertising platform. This allows us to see how many sales an advertisement produced, and allows the platform to show our advertisements to people with similar interests.
These tools do not run until you allow them. If you decline advertising cookies, or take no action where consent is required, the pixels are not loaded and no advertising data is sent.
We never provide advertising platforms with health information, and we never send them anything you record in GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition. Full detail of each cookie is in our Cookie Policy.
If you are in California, note that sharing data with advertising platforms for targeted advertising may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA. You can opt out at any time — see section 13.
International transfers
Some of our suppliers are outside Brazil, so your data may be processed abroad under safeguards.
We are based in Brazil, and some of the service providers listed above process data in other countries, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Brazil, we rely on the transfer mechanisms permitted by Article 33 of the LGPD, including contractual safeguards with our providers. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
How long we keep data
As long as we need it, then no longer.
- Purchase records — retained for as long as required by Brazilian tax and consumer protection law.
- Support correspondence — normally up to two years after the matter is resolved.
- Analytics data — retained according to the settings of our analytics provider, in aggregated form.
- GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition data — not applicable. It never reaches us; it is retained only on your own device, for as long as you keep it there.
Security
We protect what we hold — and we deliberately hold very little.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Our sites are served over encrypted connections, and access to personal data within our business is limited to those who need it.
Our strongest safeguard is structural: because GutGlow Reset: Interactive Edition stores your records on your own device and we never process payment details, the amount of sensitive data in our possession is very small by design.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that presents a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) as required by law.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, or tell us to stop. It’s free, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
We are based in Brazil and sell internationally, so more than one privacy law may apply to you. Rather than make you work out which, we extend the following rights to everyone, regardless of where you live:
- Access — confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and obtain a copy
- Correction — have inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data corrected
- Deletion — have your data deleted, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Portability — receive your data in a usable format, or have it sent to another provider
- Objection and restriction — object to processing, or ask us to limit it
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it
- Opt out of targeted advertising — including any sale or sharing of data for cross-context behavioural advertising
- No retaliation — we will not deny you products, charge you a different price, or give you a worse service because you exercised a right
To exercise any of these, email support@gutglowlife.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you.
Brazil — LGPD
MPSize Ltda is the controller under Law 13.709/2018. Your rights are those listed in Article 18, which the list above reflects. You may lodge a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).
European Union and United Kingdom — GDPR and UK GDPR
Where you are in the EU or UK, we process your data under the legal bases set out in section 06. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Transfers of your data outside the EU or UK are made under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Analytics and advertising cookies are not set for visitors in these regions until you give consent, and refusing is as easy as accepting.
United States — California and other states
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states, you have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Where you have consented to advertising cookies, data may be shared with advertising platforms in a way that some state laws classify as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time by declining advertising cookies, or by writing to us. We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out.
In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we have not sold personal information, and we have not knowingly shared the personal information of anyone under 16.
Canada — PIPEDA
You may access and correct your personal information, and challenge our handling of it. Complaints may be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Australia — Privacy Act
You may access and correct your personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
A note on health information
If you write to us about symptoms, please share only what is needed — we are not a medical service.
GutGlow Life is an educational brand. We are not a healthcare provider, and our support inbox is not a clinical service. If you contact us, we ask that you share only the information necessary for us to help with your product or your access to it.
Please do not send us detailed medical records, diagnoses or clinical documents. If you do send health information voluntarily, we treat it as sensitive personal data under Article 11 of the LGPD, use it solely to answer your message, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Children and young people
Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over, and our programs specifically advise anyone under 18 to speak with a healthcare professional rather than following them independently.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@gutglowlife.com and we will delete it.
Updates to this policy
If we change it, we change the date at the top.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Any revision will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you directly.
